Mediation with Ted Smith
Ted Smith is a mediator with over 30 years of commercial litigation experience. As a Board Certified Labor and Employment lawyer, Ted has primarily focused his practice on representing both businesses and individuals in disputes involving discrimination, retaliation, wrongful discharge, non-compete restrictions, breach of contract, and wage and hour actions. Given his experience in representing clients on both sides of the docket, Ted is well-suited to assist you in reaching a resolution in a wide range of civil litigation matters and disputes. Schedules and Fees
Ted provides both full-day and half-day mediations. Full-day mediations are scheduled from 9:00am to 5:30pm. The fee for a full-day mediation is $2,000 per side in a single-plaintiff case. Fees for multi-party mediations, including class and collective actions, generally range from $5,000 to $12,000 depending upon the number of parties and complexity of the case.
Morning half-day mediations are scheduled from 9:00am to 1:00pm, and afternoon half-day mediations are scheduled from 1:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. The fee for a half-day mediation is $1,000 per side in a single-plaintiff case. Half-day mediations are not provided for class or collective actions.
Ted can be available to conduct mediations in-person at either your office or a separate location, or remotely via Zoom.
