Biography

Sarah Lancaster joined the firm in April 2021 after practicing commercial litigation for more than six years at Locke Lord LLP. In that role, she defended various companies in all phases of complex commercial disputes, including internal investigations, civil investigative demands (CIDs), government requests for information, and litigation through trial and appeal.

Ms. Lancaster represents employers in all aspects of litigation, in a variety of legal claims in state and federal court, including wage-and-hour, employment discrimination and retaliation, non-competition, employee and customer non-solicitation, and trade secret claims. Ms. Lancaster has extensive experience in responding to discrimination, harassment, and retaliation charges filed with the EEOC and Texas Workforce Commission, drafting dispositive and pretrial motions, managing all phases of discovery, preparing witnesses for depositions and trial testimony, and negotiating complex settlement agreements.

Ms. Lancaster has significant experience advising employers and individuals on various employment law issues relating to discipline, discharge, hiring, employment contracts, employee handbooks and policies, and non-competition and confidential information issues.
