Cornell Smith Mierl Brutocao Burton is pleased to announce that Mary Quimby has joined the firm as an associate attorney. Ms. Quimby brings significant experience in employment litigation and counseling to the firm, enhancing its robust capabilities in defending and advising employers.
Before joining CSMBB, Ms. Quimby served in the General Litigation Division of the Texas Attorney General’s Office, where she represented state employers across a variety of employment-related matters, including discrimination, retaliation, employee termination, and disability accommodations. Her comprehensive litigation experience encompasses all phases of case management, from discovery and motions practice to settlement negotiations and appellate advocacy.
Additionally, Ms. Quimby has a strong background in advising educational institutions on employment and student policy matters. Her earlier role with the Education Section of the Ohio Attorney General’s Office involved representing public colleges and universities, further expanding her advisory and litigation expertise in complex administrative matters.
