Biography

Mary Quimby joined the firm in February 2025, after working in the General Litigation Division of the Texas Attorney General’s Office for over two years. In that role, she defended state employers in all phases of a wide range of employment matters, including discrimination and retaliation, employee termination, and disability accommodations.

Ms. Quimby has significant experience managing all phases of litigation including all aspects of discovery, drafting and arguing dispositive motions, settlement negotiations, and appeals. Ms. Quimby also has experience in advising and counseling clients regarding student and employment policies. She is licensed to practice in Texas and Ohio.

In addition to representing and counseling clients in litigation, Ms. Quimby’s practice includes assisting employers in investigating and responding to Charges of Discrimination, and advising employers regarding their employment policies and procedures.

Before moving to Texas, Ms. Quimby worked in the Education Section of the Ohio Attorney General’s Office, where she advised public universities and colleges in employment and other matters, represented her clients in administrative matters before government agencies, and assisted employers in investigating and responding to Charges of Discrimination. She began her legal career as the Staff Attorney and Bailiff to the Honorable Richard E. Berens in the Fairfield County Court of Common Pleas in Lancaster, Ohio, where she handled civil and criminal matters across a broad spectrum of topics.
