Biography

 

 

 

Sarah Lancaster joined the firm in April 2021 after practicing commercial litigation for more than six years at Locke Lord LLP. In that role, she defended various companies in all phases of complex commercial disputes, including internal investigations, civil investigative demands (CIDs), government requests for information, and litigation through trial and appeal. Her broad litigation experience includes representing companies in government, state, and federal court actions in claims arising from antitrust violations, breach of contract, fraud, consumer protection act violations, and insurance coverage disputes.

Ms. Lancaster has extensive experience drafting dispositive and pretrial motions, managing all phases of discovery, preparing witnesses for depositions and trial testimony, and negotiating complex settlement agreements. Since joining the firm, Ms. Lancaster’s experience includes defending companies in lawsuits alleging breaches of employment agreements, discrimination, and retaliation; seeking to enforce covenants not to compete and not to solicit customers on behalf of employers; and responding to EEOC charges on behalf of employers.
