Josh Ordiway, J.D.

Biography

 

 

 

Josh Ordiway joined the firm in 2022 after completing a federal clerkship with the Honorable Zachary J. Hawthorn, United States Magistrate Judge for the Eastern District of Texas. During his clerkship, Mr. Ordiway drafted numerous orders on employment issues—including discrimination and FLSA matters—and handled contractual, discovery, and insurance-related disputes as well. He previously interned at the Texas Third Court of Appeals, where he drafted opinions on several matters including noncompete clauses. Before joining the legal field, Mr. Ordiway worked as an operations manager in the wine distribution business.  

Mr. Ordiway has experience both drafting and adjudicating dispositive motions, and he is well-versed in discovery disputes, including expert challenges. Additionally, his knowledge of federal civil procedure allows him to guide clients through the complexity of the federal court system.
